Most tourists, in the eastern region of the state, hike and travel around within Canyonlands national parks and Arches. But the hikers get always unlimited hiking opportunities in these beautiful parks. Moab has some wonderful trails that suit all experience level of hikers. The nearest trailhead located two miles away from downtown of Moab, while a spot of farthest trailhead is 23 miles distance from city. Ranging from sandstone trails that exhibit stunning arch formation to canyons showing prehistoric astounding hieroglyphs, many hikes in Moab offer multi-day adventure trekking tours.
